How to Apply

To be considered as an Ad Hoc Property Guardian, you will need to meet some basic criteria. These are based on 20 years of experience in dealing with Guardians and Owners in the vacant property protection market.

You must have the following documentation:

  • Passport
  • Written character reference from previous landlord, tutor or other (non family member)
  • Written reference from employer or client if freelance
  • 3 recent bank statements as proof of regular income
  • Utility or phone bill as proof of current address

All applicants must be:

  • Employed
  • Responsible
  • Flexible
  • Ready to move at short notice
  • Without dependents
  • Without pets
  • (Mature Students will be considered if proof of income or savings is provided)

Booking your Induction

If these requirements apply to you and you have all your documents please call our regional branches on the right to find your nearest Ad Hoc office and book your appointment with our Guardian departments.

The Induction takes approximately one hour and it is a screening process. If we are happy to sign you up and you are happy to proceed, you become a Waiting List Guardian and then you must be ready to move at any time.

Conditions Apply

Please note that due to the temporary nature of our business we cannot guarantee your length of stay in any one building. However we value our guardians and we are proud to maintain a 98% re-house record in the UK. Guardians are not tenants and reside on a temporary license for the purpose of providing security. License agreements can be used as proof of address.
